1. 7th Robot Award: Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award (2016)

Just five years after inception, Mujin achieved its first major milestone when the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) awarded the MujinController the prestigious METI Minister’s Award at the 7th Japan Robot Awards.

2. 10th RSJ Contribution to Society Award in Robotics (2018)

• Presented by: The Robotics Society of Japan (RSJ)
• Theme: Contributions to solving social labor challenges through the dissemination of teachless robotic systems powered by the MujinController.
• Evaluation Highlights: Commended for eliminating the fundamental barrier of manual waypoint teaching, facilitating the widespread adoption of industrial robotics across diverse logistics and manufacturing sites.

3. 2018 JSME Medal for New Technology (2019)

Awarded by Japan’s oldest and most respected mechanical engineering institution, the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers (JSME).

26. 2024 RBR50 Robotics Innovation Award: TruckBot (USA, 2024)

Spearheaded by Mujin US (Atlanta, GA) in close collaboration with our global engineering teams in Japan and Europe, TruckBot earned Mujin its third RBR50 Innovation Award.

• Evaluation Highlights: TruckBot addresses one of the most grueling bottlenecks in global logistics: container devanning. Reaching up to 52 feet into shipping containers and unloading up to 1,000 mixed cases per hour (payloads up to 22 kg), TruckBot’s integrated telescopic conveyor and 3D perception set a new global benchmark for automated logistics.

27. 1st Japan Logistics Grand Award: Advanced Technology Utilization Award

• Evaluation Highlights: Honored for eliminating material flow bottlenecks across stamping, sub-assembly, and storage by validating entire facility dynamics in digital twins before orchestrating physical fleet execution.
