Rosen is a true coffee connoisseur. He starts every day with black coffee crafted by a top-tier Swiss **JURA** fully automatic machine. Affectionately called **"Rosen's Child"** internally, the machine is perpetually stocked with freshly roasted specialty beans.

At the push of a single button, anyone can enjoy an americano, espresso, cappuccino, flat white, or a range of other varieties in seconds. Moreover, the machines undergo meticulous daily cleaning and maintenance—because as Rosen emphasizes, you simply cannot make world-class coffee with an unmaintained machine.

Mujin sources specialty green beans directly from **Fazenda Passeio** in Brazil. This historic estate practices rigorous environmental stewardship with minimal pesticide usage. Remarkably for Brazil, the coffee cherries are **picked entirely by hand**, ensuring that only optimally ripe fruit is selected.

To preserve peak aroma and flavor notes, our partner roastery roasts each batch on-demand right after Mujin places an order, delivering beans at maximum freshness.

## 💡 From 12 Cokes a Day to a Berkeley Epiphany

Before becoming an espresso aficionado, Rosen was a freshman at UC Berkeley drinking up to **12 cans of Coca-Cola a day**.

One fateful day, sitting in a dimly lit lecture hall under the drone of a monotone professor, he took a sip of black coffee. The effect was immediate: profound mental clarity and laser-sharp focus.
