Welcome to another edition of our "Mujinians Voice" series!
Today, we sit down with the **Frontend System Team**—the engineers and designers crafting the mission-critical human-machine interfaces that power Mujin’s intelligent robotics solutions worldwide.

## 🎯 The Team Mission: Industrial Robots for Everyone

*-- Hi Binbin, thank you for your time today! To start off, could you tell us about your team’s core mission?*

> 💬 **Binbin:**
> Mujin’s central vision is **“Industrial robots for everyone.”** By delegating harsh, repetitive physical labor to intelligent machines, we want people to focus on higher-level, creative tasks.
>
> Through motion intelligence and computer vision, Mujin has automated complex warehouse and manufacturing processes that were once considered impossible. Yet industrial robots remain deeply sophisticated systems—traditionally, only highly trained specialists could configure them. While Mujin slashed setup times from over a year down to just a month, we believe that is still not fast enough.

:::note[The Ultimate Goal]
**Make industrial robots so intuitive that anyone can configure and deploy them in moments.**
Think of a modern video game: players don’t read hundred-page manuals—they simply start the game and follow the interactive tutorial naturally. That is the level of simplicity we are bringing to industrial robotics!

## 💻 Three Core Interface Architectures

The Frontend System team develops three foundational software platforms:

**1. Robot Setup**

Enables system integrators and field engineers to connect robots with peripherals, define picking logic, and calibrate workspaces with ease.

**2. Troubleshooting & Analytics**

In complex robotics cells streaming thousands of telemetry signals per second, this suite provides instant root-cause diagnostics and log tracing.

**3. Operations**

Touch-optimized interface for factory and warehouse operators to monitor real-time throughput and safely recover from unforeseen exceptions.

## 🧠 Engineering Mindset: True Full-Stack Ownership

*-- What specific mindset or technical qualities make an engineer succeed on this team?*

> 💬 **Binbin:**
> Our work touches the entire product lifecycle—from greenfield prototyping to high-stakes 24/7 industrial production.
>
> For our developers, frontend is never just about skinning web pages or calling APIs. You must understand the full stack: streaming data pipelines, warehouse pick-and-place business logic, and how queries impact distributed backend services.

<div class="grid grid-cols-1 sm:grid-cols-2 gap-4 my-6">
  <figure class="m-0">
    <img src="/blog/external/t6gtj8y552q51.webp" alt="It's working meme" class="rounded-lg w-full h-48 sm:h-56 object-cover border border-border" />
    <figcaption class="text-xs text-muted-foreground mt-1.5 text-center">Unraveling complex distributed logic until it runs flawlessly</figcaption>

    <figcaption class="text-xs text-muted-foreground mt-1.5 text-center">Root-cause debugging with telemetry, simulation, and real hardware</figcaption>
  </figure>
</div>

Because we interface with varied backend services, unexpected behaviors inevitably arise. Instead of waiting for someone else to step in, our engineers dive in, investigate the root cause, and submit pull requests across repositories themselves.

This embodies one of Mujin's foundational values: **"Take initiative, be independent."**

## 👥 Voices from the Team: Why We Love Building at Mujin

*-- We asked the team members to share their perspectives on what drew them to Mujin and what daily life is like.*

**Practical Project-Based Interview**

Instead of abstract whiteboard riddles, Mujin’s final round was a realistic engineering project. It allowed me to showcase my actual skills and gave me an accurate preview of daily work.

**True Full-Stack Growth**

This role goes far beyond traditional frontend work into system architecture, real-time protocols, and deep UI/UX. Working with exceptionally brilliant peers drives continuous learning.

**Dedicated In-House Robot Cell**

Our office features a full robot cell reserved specifically for our team. We write code and test it on physical industrial arms immediately—ideal for learning robotics quickly.

**Global Talent & Shared Passion**

With teammates from all over the world, every conversation brings fresh technical perspectives. Everyone is genuinely absorbed in solving hard problems together.
