## 1. Strategic Background: Overcoming Industrial Data Fragmentation

Across core manufacturing and logistics hubs worldwide, severe demographic labor shortages are accelerating at an unprecedented pace.

While industrial leaders have invested heavily in robotics and digital transformation (DX), a fundamental chasm has persisted: **physical operational reality on the factory floor remains disconnected from executive management and supply chain forecasting**. Disruptions or throughput fluctuations on active sorting docks or assembly cells are rarely reflected in corporate ERP systems in real time.

Mujin develops Machine Intelligence for robot controllers, enabling multi-ton industrial manipulators to perceive, plan, and execute complex sorting and depalletizing tasks without tedious manual teaching.
Accenture brings unmatched global depth in enterprise consulting and digital engineering through Industry X.
Together, Accenture Alpha Automation provides end-to-end solutions that translate millisecond-level robotic telemetry into actionable insights for corporate boardrooms.
